We are looking for a Software Project Engineer to join our Ultrasound Software Engineering organization in Bothell, Washington. In this role you will lead the software effort for new development projects. You will play a key role in bringing innovative ultrasound software products and solutions to the market.
Your role:
- Works with software development engineers, managers, Scrum Masters, and the program team to lead the planning, definition, specification, design, implementation, integration, and test of software solutions for new development projects.
- Ensures project execution is in line with project guidelines and directives. Determines project risks, defines corrective actions, and drives projects to closure. Determines and allocates project resources in accordance with guidelines.
- Works with project stakeholders to communicate and review plans, status, project risks, metrics, and resource requests.
- Works with other project leaders, Scrum Masters, Product Owners to manage cross-discipline and cross-project dependencies.
- Works with team members in Product/Clinical Marketing, Customer Services, and Supply Chain to ensure that implementations will meet customer and business needs.
- Leads software development efforts distributed across Philips sites in North America and India.
You're the right fit if:
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience leading software development efforts (PMP – Nice to have).
- Experience with working in an Agile development environment (Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) experience preferred).
- Good understanding of the V-model, most importantly left side of model (Requirements analysis, functional analysis, functional vs non-functional requirements, component analysis)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interface in a cross-disciplinary manner, including with engineers, project leaders, and functional managers.
- Familiarity with medical devices and/or working in a regulated environment a plus.

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details
The pay range for this position in (Bothell, WA) is $117,600 to $201,600.
The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
