Responsibilities
- Lead Assurance Reviews, communicate outcomes to stakeholders, and support them in developing mitigating actions.
- Collaborate with and support the Head of Assurance, directly contributing to the development of the 2LA Annual Plan.
- Engage with stakeholders and continuously monitor business functions assigned by the Head of Assurance, focusing on CFCC and Operational Risk matters.
- Lead quality review execution and ensure timely delivery of the Plan.
- Support the Head of Assurance in demonstrating knowledge and capability to stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development and communication of the 2LA Methodology.
- Proactively identify and communicate emerging risks for periodic risk-based reviews.
- Execute review tasks, identify potential issues, and ensure formal evaluation
- Develop risk-based assurance reviews for consistency and efficiency.
- Manage 2LA reviews, ensuring quality, consistency, and timeliness.
- Complete documentation and track issues in the Assurance system.
- Promote cooperation with auditors, regulators, peers, and the industry.
Qualifications:
- Background in Auditing, Compliance, Financial Crime Compliance, Risk Management.
- 6-10 years of experience in audit, assurance, operational risks, compliance, or risk management reviews/testing.
- Strong analytical skills, confidence in data interrogation, and stakeholder management.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Responsible, accountable, and demonstrates a risk-based approach to decision-making.

Expected annual base pay range for the role is 107,490 USD to 147,799 USD. The final offer will be determined on an individualised basis using a number of variables, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience and education, internal relativity, and specific work location. At Standard Chartered Bank, Base pay is only part of the total compensation package.
