Job Title

Senior Federal Contracts Manager (Cambridge, MA or Nashville, TN)

Job Description

Join us to improve the health and lives of military veterans, active-duty service members, and other people served by the Federal Government. As an individual contributor, you will provide support to field sales personnel in account strategy development, quoting, and direct sales activities to ensure Philips presents a value-driven solution to the end customer while maintaining overall contract compliance.

Your role:

  • Leading, coaching, and developing a team of contract managers while providing guidance and oversight to resources outside the Government group, such as Legal, Business Units, Order Management, Project Management, Finance, and other departments to maintain overall contract compliance.

  • Utilizing knowledge of contract terms and Federal Acquisition Regulations to develop response strategies for complex Government proposal requests, in collaboration with Sales and the Proposal Center.

  • Monitor, add, and delete products and/or features from awarded contracts as product line offerings and structure change, while also monitoring company and GPO contract discount trends and updating discounts for assigned contracts to ensure compliance with Government agreement terms.

You're the right fit if:

  • You’ve acquired 5+ years of experience with Federal Government contracts, particularly Multiple Award Schedule IDIQs, Federal Supply Schedules, and GWACs for commercial products, with additional knowledge of GPOs and service contracts as a plus.

  • Your skills include strong knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation, Defense FAR Supplement, Veterans Administration Acquisition Regulation, Buy American Act, and Trade Agreements Act. Excellent writing skills, attention to detail, and high productivity are essential, along with strong computer skills in Microsoft Office applications.

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in business (preferred), or equivalent experience within the Federal Contracts space is a plus.

  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.

  • You’re an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills, energetic, proactive, flexible, and able to work independently and as part of a team. They must be comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, detail-oriented environment, managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously. Proficiency in Office 365 and other specialized databases is also required.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

This is an office role.
