Open Systems Technologies is looking for a Systems Engineer/Configuration Manager to work on a cloud integration and sustainment program that is involved in the deployment and maintenance of multiple operational cloud-deployed solutions.
A successful candidate will have experience with Agile methodologies as well as the ability to participate in release planning events, daily scrums, and other technical discussions as needed. The primary function of this role will be to move (“replicating”) data and products among networks, providing dissemination support from all NGA networks to appropriate domains, and loading data/products to networks. The DTO will work on a team that transfers NGA products, information, data, and web content for dissemination on NGA and coalition networks. This role may support all activities owned by the CM team including documentation, software management, architecture diagrams, cloud cost control methodologies and reporting, and other projects while requiring significant collaboration with other teams, program management, and customer stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to lead and monitor DTO requests
- Select, transfer and load items from one security or network domain to another security or network domain
- Transfer selected items and load to the correct location on the server, ensuring indexes, metadata and other supporting information is updated as needed
- Select, transfer and load items to NGA Gateway networks
- Document transfer and perform quality assurance for all items transferred
- Ensure appropriate records of data and information transferred are created and maintained
- Review deployments for each Sprint with a focus on newly implemented features.
- Aid in the creation of documentation and processes to increase the quality of the systems in a repeatable manner.
- Review customer feedback and update documents/checklists to ensure errors are not repeated.

- Organizational Skills: Can plan and prioritize work. Follows tasks to their logical conclusion and makes sure that everything has been done to the right standard. Good attention to detail.

Required Qualifications:
- CLEARANCE: Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain & maintain a Polygraph post-hire
- Requires BS degree and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 years of prior relevant experience OR 4 years of experience in lieu of degree
- Ability to work on-site at least 4 days a week
- Proactive self-starter demonstrating a positive, willing attitude and excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Significant experience as a Systems Engineer and/or Configuration Manager using tools such as Git, Jenkins and Nexus as well configuration management databases
- Proven experience managing multiple baselines across multiple environments
- Demonstrated understanding of AWS/Cloud technologies
- Experience with Agile/SAFe development methodologies
- Experience with team collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence, RocketChat)
- Creation of Version Description Documents (VDDs)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience acquiring software and associated management of licenses
- Experience establishing or significantly improving an existing CM system and process
- Experience leading Change Management Teams
- Experience improving and auditing deployment processes
- Understand CM / SE process for the entire life cycle of systems from initial requirements/capabilities baselines to system end-of-life
- Experience with Government processes and procedures including DTO, SWAP, SWIDs, and other CM taskings.
