About the TeamOur team is focusing on building Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions on hybrid multi-clouds to cater to various customer workloads. Simultaneously, we are dedicated to enhancing our underlying DR architecture to achieve better performance and scalability. The team comprises highly skilled and collaborative engineers who prioritize knowledge sharing and learning. This cohesive culture enables us to efficiently tackle any challenge that comes our way. Collaborating closely with other teams in the organization allows for valuable professional development and growth opportunities.You will report to the Director of Engineering, who provides mentorship, guidance, and support to help you excel in your role. Our work setup is a hybrid model, where employees are encouraged to come into the office for 2-3 days a week. This in-office collaboration fosters creativity, innovation, and teamwork while providing the flexibility to work remotely when needed.As the role is primarily office-based, there are no travel requirements associated with this position.

Your Role

• Develop expertise in multiple areas of the DR stack
• Maintain and enhance existing DR features and fix product issues
• Contribute to defining the long-term vision and product direction
• Create scalable and performant distributed service backend
• Ensure high product quality by owning content from inception to delivery
• Work with cloud environments, distributed systems design, and APIs
• Solid understanding of operating systems and hypervisor concepts
• Utilize programming skills in Golang, Python, and C++
• Collaborate with other teams for successful delivery

What You Will Bring

• Strong experience in cloud environment and distributed systems design
• Proficiency in Golang, Python, and C++
• Solid understanding of operating systems and hypervisor concepts
• Expertise in API backend frameworks and API design
• Experience with scalable and performant distributed service backend
• Ability to debug issues in a distributed/clustered environment
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 0-2 years of relevant experience

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 124,800 and USD $ 249,600 per year.However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.
