Responsibilities
- Collaborate with software development teams to plan, track and execute complex, cross organizational programs while maintaining focus on building the right things at the highest levels of quality.
- Perform program analysis, handle risk, identify and influence vital course corrections, creatively seek solutions, and communicate program status and activities across multiple levels of management.
- Assess and improve the processes that comprise the agile software development lifecycle, and mentor/coach others on those processes.
Qualifications
- Expertise in agile, cross-organizational software development programs in a commercial software environment
- Ability to influence others to get things done, even when you have no direct line of authority over them
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience with developing and reporting on metrics for engineering development
- Experience using work management and collaboration tools like Jira, Confluence, SharePoint and Microsoft Teams
- Software, mechanical or electrical engineering education and/or background
- Experience with MATLAB, Simulink, or comparable products desirable
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree and 6 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree and 3 years of professional work experience, or a PhD degree, or equivalent experience) is required.
