As a Senior Paralegal here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in providing legal facilitation and assistance to our legal team. You will be accountable for conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and assisting with various legal matters. Your expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the success of our legal operations.
You will report directly to our Legal Counsel and you'll work out of our Charlotte, NC location on a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the legal function by ensuring the accuracy and completeness of legal documents, assisting in litigation and regulatory matters, and providing guidance on legal compliance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform various case management and other related tasks at direction of attorneys
- Support information gathering and document collection for responding to subpoenas and document requests
- Manage legal files and docketing
- Prepare and issue legal holds
- Review and distribute service of process and related legal documents/communications
- Support outside counsel retention processes and procedures
- Support legal department vendors and Honeywell Finance with legal billing processes
- Support M&A due diligence
- Prepare KPIs, metrics, and reporting as needed by the Legal Department and other stakeholders, including internal and external auditors
- Ensure functional compliance to corporate policy and legal department guidelines
- Support ad hoc special projects and initiatives

YOU MUST HAVE
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal or in a similar legal role
- Strong knowledge of legal research and writing
- Proficiency in legal software and databases
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
