E Source is seeking a partner-level executive to lead our Work and Asset Management (WAM) practice. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise in utility WAM solutions (electric, gas, water) and a strong consulting background in asset performance management (APM), asset investment planning (AIP; e.g., Copperleaf), data-as-an-asset strategies, enterprise asset data initiatives, and mobile workforce transformation.
This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful sales, deployment, integration, and optimization of software solutions that enhance organizational efficiency and asset performance. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the utility industry combined with technical expertise, strategic vision, and leadership skills to deliver transformative outcomes.

What you’ll do:
- Lead the sales process from origination to close for various WAM solutions.
- Develop and maintain high-value relationship capital across utilities in the US and Canada.
- Advise clients on applying selected solution/software best practices to business needs and processes with a clear understanding of process-by-process system capabilities.
- Lead in consulting regarding asset performance management (APM), asset investment planning (AIP), creating data-as-an-asset strategies, driving enterprise programs to create an “asset golden record,” bring in new work, and bring mobile workforce strategies to life.
- Translate requirements into solutions by leveraging leading utility industry practices. [PH1]
- Work collaboratively with pre-sales and delivery teams to appropriately address, scope, and price client requirements to achieve profit margins.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices.
- Provide executive-level insights and recommendations for future software and technology investments .
- Prospect for new clients.
- Nurture existing clients to win incremental business.
- Create a defined prospect list, where possible, with identified opportunities.
What will make you a good fit:
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience as an executive partner delivering WAM solutions (SAP, Maximo, Copper Leaf) for utilities with a software provider or System Integrator. In particular, electric or gas utilities.
- Minimum of 5 years selling and managing WAM solutions (SAP, Maximo, IFS, Copperleaf) with utilities.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience delivering large, complex, highly integrated projects for investor-owned utilities or large municipal utilities (1M+ customers). In particular, electric or gas utilities.
- Deep technical and functional knowledge of various work and asset management systems (SAP, Maximo, Oracle, others).
- Prior experience building both a business and a team of seasoned high-potential players.
- Strong subject-matter expertise and experience in field mobility.
- Experience with asset management and performance, compliance, and maintenance.

The budgeted salary for this position is $400,000 - $500,000 USD (range includes base salary + annual bonus). Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
This role will require up to 80% travel depending on business development needs.
