Join a growing retail brand as a Retail Store Designer, shaping engaging and innovative retail design concepts! This full-time hybrid role is based in San Francisco with onsite days (Tue-Thu) and remote flexibility (Mon and Fri).
As a Retail Store Designer, you will:
- Design and deliver 3D floor plans, elevations, and renderings for retail design projects, demonstrating a deep understanding of materials, fabrication methods, and construction techniques.
- Develop and present finish proposals, ensuring all elements reflect the brand's identity and meet project goals.
- Translate brand standards into tailored, innovative designs that balance creativity and cost-efficiency for diverse store layouts.
- Collaborate with architects, vendors, cross-functional teams, and leadership to communicate design intent and achieve seamless execution.
- Ensure compliance with landlord guidelines, ADA standards, and state/local building codes.
What You'll Bring to the Role:
- 6+ years of experience creating and iterating on 3D retail design concepts, including windows, glass, flooring, furniture, fixtures, and more.
- Proficiency in SketchUp, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and ideally AutoCAD.
- A strong portfolio showcasing your ability to bring retail design concepts from ideation to execution.
- Experience working with and managing vendor partnerships to bring creative visions to life.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, including confidence engaging with leadership teams.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to set priorities, manage timelines, and consistently meet deadlines.
