As the Warehouse Supervisor, you will plan the layout of the stockroom, warehouse, and other storage areas, considering turnover, size, weight, and related factors of items stored. You will supervise hourly employees engaged in lifting, transporting and loading materials for shipment or storage, oversee the processing, packaging and storage of supplies, materials, and equipment, and schedule work for special and periodic inventories. We are looking for someone with several years of related experience. You will report to the Warehouse Manager, and you will work at our Indianapolis plant.
Position Responsibilities
- You will coordinate warehousing operations and production needs.
- You will maintain loading, unloading, and scheduling of product or ingredients to meet plant and corporate objectives.
- You will oversee shipping/receiving operations to provide efficient handling of raw materials and customer orders.
- You will establish and maintain warehousing rotation and hold programs.
- You will monitor warehousing area and employees to eliminate work hazards and unsafe acts and monitor equipment, submit work orders for repairs, and recommend changes for safe operation.
- You will train individuals on safety procedures, specifically forklift and hand jack operation, loading, and trailer operation.
- You will drive initiatives to reduce cost through labor controls, damage reduction, implementation of new methods and tools to improve productivity.
Position Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- You will need excellent communication skills.
- 1+ years experience in a food-processing, manufacturing, or warehouse environment is required.

While performing the duties of this job, you will regularly be required to talk and hear. You will frequently be required to stand and walk. You will be required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, and feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; taste and smell. You will occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. You will be exposed to a noisy environment that varies from hot to cold in temperature. Compensation:
Pay Range:$59,000-$78,000The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee's actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees' equity.Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
