The Senior Analyst, Key Account Activation, Livestock develops and executes strategies to drive customer effectiveness and profitability in partnership with the KAM teams. The position holder develops and monitors relevant KPIs to create a customer centric approach ensuring highly functioning KAM teams across L&E.
This role is based in Duluth, GA
Duties & Responsibilities
- Builds expert knowledge around data management, customer program execution, data reporting, and revenue management.
- Engages with the key account team to define business requirements and work cross functionally to ensure the development and delivery of accurate and actionable information to the KAM to maximize resource allocation and account profitability.
- Responsible for cross functional coordination with Livestock and Equine KAM teams, GSAM, Corporate Accounts, Livestock Leadership, Marketing, Customer Excellence, Finance, Legal and Supply to create a superior customer experience to generate and develop global leading customer business plans and continue to develop the center of excellence for key account management within Boehringer Ingelheim.
- Engages Key Account managers to analyze and advise on future recommended services, solutions, and agreements as part of the annual CBP process.
- Develops, aligns, and measures effective key performance indicators for both the customers and key account teams.
- Serves as an expert and consultant for key account executional priorities and tactics.
- Develops and implements strategies to optimize the account selection, segmentation, and engagement processes to continue to grow the KAM approach and functionality, increasing our ability to maximize individual accounts moving forward.
Drives effective business communication:
- Establishes open, transparent communication on a one-on-one basis.
- Manages different stakeholders and influence behaviors related to the use of the information by communicating success, concerns, risks, and status updates on related work.
- Collaborates with peers to share learnings, core processes, systems, and best practices.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum of eight (8) years successful animal health or related industry experience including a minimum of five (5) years Key Account management, Commercial Excellence or marketing experience required.
- Must possess strong leadership and influencing skills to maximize performance results.
- Knowledge of the animal health/food animal production and veterinary clinic industry economics and drivers preferred.
- Ability to work and thrive in a matrix environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills (verbal and written).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lead without authority and inspire a team to follow.
- Strong learning agility.
- Demonstrated high level of business and financial acumen.
- Proficiency in various business software applications.
- Ability to travel (up to 40% overnight travel domestically).
- Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
- Authorization and ability to drive a company leased vehicle or authorized rental car.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
