The API Inspector supports the safe and efficient delivery of API 510/570/653 inspections of aboveground storage tanks and pressure vessels.
As an API Inspector, you will be responsible for:
- Maintaining a safe work environment and insure the use of proper safety procedures and equipment.
- Assisting in the successful completion of all field projects as directed.
- Performing NDE tasks as required.
- Maintaining accurate communications with all crew members.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a high school diploma/GED or equivalent
- Possess 2+ years of industry experience.
- Have experience with a field service company.
- Have knowledge or certified to perform MT, VT, MFL, PT and other NDE methods as required.
- Be comfortable with heights and tight spaces.
- Be willing to travel when needed (approximately 75% travel), with little notice including travel overnight and by air.
- Must be eligible for a TWIC card.
