Job Title: MongoDB Administrator
Project Summary:
- Ascendion is seeking an experienced MongoDB Administrator to join our enterprise cloud team for a prominent healthcare payer client. This role is essential for upgrading, installing, and maintaining MongoDB Atlas, as well as managing deployments.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MongoDB administration, with a focus on security and integration with monitoring tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Upgrade, install, and maintain MongoDB and MongoDB Atlas environments.
- Manage MongoDB deployments, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Implement and oversee security measures, including SSL and LDAP configurations.
- Create and replicate MongoDB clusters from scratch as needed.
- Integrate MongoDB with monitoring tools such as Snowflake and Splunk.
- Develop and maintain automated scripts using Python.
- Provide expertise on Linux server management in the context of MongoDB operations.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 to 7 years as a MongoDB Administrator or Manager.
- Proven ability to upgrade, install, and maintain MongoDB and MongoDB Atlas.
- Strong security experience, including SSL and LDAP.
- Proficiency in creating and managing MongoDB clusters.
- Experience with MongoDB Atlas and integration with monitoring tools like Snowflake and Splunk.
- Skilled in developing automated scripts using Python.
- Solid understanding of Linux server environments.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in the healthcare industry or with healthcare payer systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
Location: Remote (U.S)
Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $100,000 - $120,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
