





The Team
We’re seeking a Lead Corporate Development Analyst to join American Tower’s Corporate Development, Mergers & Acquisition, and Property Management team. The team fuels growth through value additive acquisitions, investments, partnerships, and other development opportunities. The Lead Corporate Development Analyst’s primary task is evaluating and analyzing transactions in close partnership with various stakeholders. Day-to-day, you will spend most of your time fostering deals from start to finish with members of the Company’s leadership team.
What You Can Offer Us
- Lead the assessment and execution of potential acquisitions, investments, partnerships, and other development opportunities.
- Perform complex modeling, scenario analyses, and valuations for various opportunities across the digital infrastructure landscape.
- Act as a main point of contact with bankers, brokers, sellers, consultants, legal partners, and other service providers.
- Partner with Finance department teams to implement and execute on a capital allocation strategy.
- Create executive presentation materials to help drive business decisions.
- Manage and report on key performance indicators to evaluate performance against expectations.
- Lead smaller cross-functional due diligence efforts with internal diligence teams, corporate functional teams, and external advisors.
- Ensure the portfolio of deals is properly monitored with reporting on valuation, diligence, closing, and integration activities.
- Communicate project plans, progress, and issues involving key stakeholders. Provide quarterly reporting to senior leadership.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with business partners in the Legal, Finance, Accounting, Tax, Sales, Operations, and Engineering departments to ensure accurate assessments of potential transactions.
- Perform other ad-hoc analyses and projects as assigned.
What You Need to Succeed
- Bachelor’s degree required, with a concentration in Finance, Accounting, or Economics preferred.
- Between 4–6 years of financial analysis, project management, or related experience required.
- Master’s degree and/or Chartered Financial Analyst certification preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively influence decision-making during key negotiations.
- Self-motivated; able to work both independently to complete tasks and respond to requests and with others to utilize their resources and knowledge to identify quality solutions.
- Ability to work in a time-sensitive, high-volume environment.
- Strong leadership skills; ability to drive and motivate a team to achieve results.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with an ability to present ideas and information clearly and effectively.
- Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to achieve results effectively and professionally.
- Strong organizational skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed-upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast-paced environment.
