





The Team
We are seeking a Lead Analyst Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to join American Tower’s Financial Planning and Analysis team. The FP&A team partners with internal stakeholders to provide actionable analyses and recommendations driven by detailed analytics. Day to day you will focus on forecasting, budgeting, financial modeling and reporting. As a Lead Analyst FP&A you will partner cross-functionally to deliver guidance on decisions about business development projects that impact the long-term strategy of U.S. Tower.
What You Can Offer Us
- Serve as the main business partner for the Sales organization by providing thoughtful analyses, reporting, and predictive modeling to help senior leaders make informed financial decisions.
- Prepare long range strategic plans, annual budgets and monthly forecasts.
- Lead Revenue planning for the U.S. Tower business
- Build monthly and quarterly reporting packages and variance analysis of actuals against plan and forecast.
- Develop appropriate reporting/dashboards to provide visibility into trends, key drivers and metrics (KPI’s)
- Develop ad hoc analyses to uncover trends and assess business risks / opportunities in order to provide recommendations
- Communicate outcomes of analyses and research to Sr. Manager FP&A and other internal stakeholders to ensure successful end-to-end understanding of financials, strategy, process, and planning
- As a Lead Analyst FP&A you may be responsible for the recruitment, performance management and career development of Analysts and Senior Analysts. You’ll also be expected to cultivate a collaborative team dynamic that enables us to meet our business objectives.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You Need to Succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related major is required.
- Masters degree and/or CPA/ CFA certification is preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of progressive finance experience is required, such as reporting, planning, advanced analytics and complex predictive modeling.
- Proficiency with multi-dimensional reporting and business intelligence tools (e.g. Essbase/Adaptive Planning/Anaplan, Tableau/PowerBI/OAS) is required.
- Business partnership experience strongly preferred.
- Telecommunications, real estate, and/or broadcast media experience is a plus.
- Ability to anticipate barriers/opportunities and think out of the box to enable solutions.
- Strong organization, planning, and project management skills; ability to prioritize tasks for self and team to meet requirements and deadlines.
- Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results.
- Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to effectively and professionally to achieve results.
