Job Description:
Overview: Responsible for documentation, deployment, and troubleshooting of the Windows and VMware environment. This includes Windows Server 2008/2012, 2016, 2019, and 2022, AD GPO, SCCM, IIS, VMware vSphere, vSAN, NSX, Automated Build Tools (Aria Automation), Scripting (PowerShell, Ansible), Dell and Cisco Server support.
Responsibilities:
- Manage ITIL process in Service Now.
- Maintain and deploy new server infrastructure.
- Coordinate with L2 team to enhance and automate their work.
- Manage patching and vulnerability in Windows and VMware environment.
- Manage Active Directory GPO for the server infrastructure.
- Implement, manage and enhance configuration management tool for VMware and Windows.
- Architect server hardware infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot vSAN and Horizon VDI infrastructure.
- Manage and architect VCF (VMware Cloud Foundation).
- Manage VCF components like SDDC manager, vCenter, vSAN, NSX, Aria suite.
- Review, maintain and test upgrades to the vendor software used for server support.
- Develop and implement new and expanded support services or performance/tuning recommendations.
- Primary: Windows Operating System / VMware.
- Secondary: SCCM, AD GPO, VMware VCF.
- Tertiary: Kubernetes and VMware TKG.
