A Day in the Life:
Warehouse Associates are the last company personnel to handle finished product prior to customer delivery; therefore, operators need to have clear understanding of product packaging standards and transportation equipment standards. Knowledge of product descriptions, palletizing methods, and lot numbers is required to ensure accurate order processing. Proper loading ensures that trailer weights meet state and interstate highway weight requirements, and that our product arrives at the customer free of damage.
What You'll Be Doing:
Warehouse Associates are the last company personnel to handle finished product prior to customer delivery; therefore, operators need to have clear understanding of product packaging standards and transportation equipment standards. Knowledge of product descriptions, palletizing methods, and lot numbers is required to ensure accurate order processing. Proper loading ensures that trailer weights meet state and interstate highway weight requirements, and that our product arrives at the customer free of damage.
Hourly rage $21-32. This role is also eligible to receive an annual incentive bonus.
The hours for this position are 1:00PM-9:30PM.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work consistently in a safe manner.
- Perform basic order selection, picking, palletizing, and loading functions for finished product orders, which includes the following:
- Inspect trailers to be loaded to ensure company standards are met.
- Decide proper load stacking and sequence following FIFO.
- Verify product codes, lot numbers, and item counts.
- Prepare correct picking and loading records to facilitate accurate transportation documents and customer receiving documents. This will ensure accurate accounting of product and lot numbers, proper customer invoicing, as well as complete and updated finished product inventory.
- Maintain safe operation of transportation equipment. Lock and chock trailers for personal safety.
- Ensure safe storage of product to eliminate safety incidents.
- Maintain order and arrangement of finished product in storage areas to ensure integrity and quality of the finished product; ensure areas are neat and clean.
- Other tasks and activities as directed by the Warehouse Supervisor or the Warehouse Manager.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED Preferred
- Demonstration of proper forklift operation.

Training Requirements:
Good Manufacturing Practices, sit-down forklift, and motorized pallet movers
Physical Demands: Order selection and loading tasks occur in 45 degree F environment; basic job functions involve operation of sit-down forklift; stooping, bending, lifting to 50 pounds are common; stacking cases and manual stretch wrapping.
