Skills and Competencies

  • Experienced Training Program Lead: Proven experience in designing, implementing and delivering effective training programs tailored to various roles and experience levels, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies. Strong project management skills including the ability to manage multiple initiatives and meet deadlines.
  • Strong Communicator and Presenter: Exceptional communication and presentation skills to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, business partners and vendors. Collaborative, adaptable, and solutions-focused, with a passion for driving sales success
  • Analytical and Strategic Thinker: Able to identify, prioritize, create, and maintain sales tools / technology, resources, and training program curriculum and materials for the Moody's Ratings Commercial organization. Expert in sales data and market trends analyses, able to leverage technology and AI to uncover insights which improve sales education, awareness, performance and business decisioning.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred), educational tools, sales enablement platforms, and other relevant technologies and vendor services. Strong background in data analysis, artificial intelligence (AI), and business drivers.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in sales enablement, lead generation, and training programs within financial services/heavily regulated sector
  • At least 5 years in a leadership position
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Training Program Lead for all of Moody's Ratings Commercial: Lead the development and delivery of training programs by designing a training strategy and program which will enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales team, and then the rest of the Moody's Ratings Commercial organization. In this role, the individual will be expected to:
    1. Collaborate with Moody's Ratings Commercial leadership and their teams to identify skill gaps and design training programs by role and experience level.
    2. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs against KPIs, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
    3. Coordinate with third-party facilitators for guest speaker sessions or workshops on external-led training sessions.
    4. Create and deliver effective training materials, presentations, and sales content in partnership with Moody's Professional Development Team and others across the Moody's organization.

  1. Sales Enablement and Lead Generation Support: Lead and execute key projects to enhance sales and identify new business opportunities.
    1. Lead the execution of sales enablement strategies and vendor partnerships in alignment with organizational goals.
    2. Implement data-driven lead generation campaigns in collaboration with marketing.
    3. Consolidate and provide customer insights to the respective relationship managers for timely action.
    4. Streamline processes, track performance, and provide the necessary tools and resources to support the business and drive incremental leads / sales.

About the team

We are seeking a highly experienced Sales Enablement Lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in sales enablement, training programs, and lead generation, ideally within financial services or another heavily regulated and complex industry where the individual has a proven track record of driving sales performance. This is a critical role for the team, responsible for driving our sales team's success by developing and implementing effective sales training programs and strategies and other lead generation initiatives. We offer a flexible, hybrid work model.

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $163K - $235K, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
