Who will you be working with?

As a leadership team member of the ITTS (IT Technology Services) team you will work closely with other infrastructure and applications leaders across the company and the world, to deliver a world class Digital Workplace experience for our employees.

How will you make a difference?

  • As the Vice President - Digital Workplace Solutions, you will lead the global team that is responsible for delivering end user computing services to 27,000 users across Wabtec.
  • You will oversee the management, deployment, lifecycle management and support of all end user devices, including laptops, desktops, tablets, mobile phones, printers, and peripherals.
  • You will ensure the security, compliance, and performance of the end user environment, including software updates, patches, antivirus, encryption, backup, and recovery.
  • You will drive the innovation and transformation of the digital workplace solutions, leveraging cloud, automation, and user-centric design principles.
  • You will own end user software deployments and be a key decision maker in end user tool selection.
  • You will own field services support of over 100 individuals around the world at over 60 sites.

What do we want to know about you?

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field. A master's degree or an MBA is preferred.
  • At least 10 years of experience in managing end user computing services in a large, complex, and global organization.
  • Proven track record of delivering end user computing solutions that are secure, reliable, scalable, and user-friendly.
  • Strong knowledge of end user computing technologies, such as Windows, MacOS, iOS, Android, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Intune, SCCM, Tanium, Jamf, etc.
  • Experience in leading and executing digital workplace transformation initiatives, such as cloud migration, device modernization, automation, self-service, etc.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior executives, business partners, and IT teams.
  • Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive change and innovation.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and stakeholders in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

What will your typical day look like?

  • You will collaborate with business stakeholders, IT leaders, and external partners to align the digital workplace strategy with the business objectives and priorities.
  • You will manage the budget, resources, vendors, and contracts related to the end user computing services.
  • You will establish and monitor the service level agreements, key performance indicators, and customer satisfaction metrics for the end user computing services.
  • You will develop and mentor the talent within the digital workplace solutions team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to operate a laptop or desktop and to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Concentrate for long periods of time.
  • Work independently and as part of a team.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Domestic and International travel may be required occasionally.
