Responsibilities
The Senior HDL Content Developer is responsible for developing product training content for users of MathWorks products in the areas of FPGAs, DSP, HDL code generation and verification. Specific activities include researching industry and application-specific concepts and workflows, creating instructional examples, designing and developing course content, providing appropriate feedback to development and sales organizations, and identifying and implementing content improvements. This person will also teach advanced courses as needed and will develop learning plans for individual courses and areas.
Qualifications
- MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Knowledge of MATLAB and Simulink
- Experience with FPGA, ASIC, or SoC
- Familiarity with digital signal processing
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with delivering instruction to highly technical audiences
- Proficiency with RTL synthesis tools is a plus
- Experience developing technical training content is a plus
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree and 6 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree and 3 years of professional work experience, or a PhD degree, or equivalent experience) is required.
