The Associate Director of Sales is an experienced senior level Hotel Sales role that reports directly to the Director of Sales, Marketing and Events. This position is a temporary role to provide Maternity Leave coverage for the Hotel’s current Associate Director of Sales. It is preferred that the candidate has prior Associate Director of Sales, or Director of Sales, experience. The Associate Director of Sales will have direct oversight of Group and Event Sales for the Hotel. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the mentoring and training the sales staff, managing select key accounts, recruitment and hiring, leading team meetings, customer entertainment, community involvement and networking. This position may be required to serve as Director in the absence of the Director of Sales and Events.

Wage Information:
The salary range for this position is $97,800 to $151,400. The starting salary for this position will be between $97,800 to $109,000. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, including experience, qualifications and education.
Qualifications
· A minimum of 5-7 years previous sales experience
· Proficient in general computer knowledge
· Assistant Leadership Committee (ALC) or Leadership Committee (LC) experience preferred but not required
· Ability to train and monitor the process of sending referrals, setting traces and profiling accounts.
· Excellent customer relation skills
· Ability to communicate with all levels of management
· Presentation and organization skills of utmost importance
