As a Technical Support Engineer, you are responsible for:
Own the resolution of post-sales technical customer issues
As the technical depth required to resolve an issue increases, the "level" of skill set increases
For some projects the individual may handle escalating technical issues/troubleshooting
Works together with cross-functional teams
Communicates specific needs about project approach and presents outcomes of investigations or testing performed
Responsible for overseeing multiple projects from conception to completion
Responsible for implementing processes and procedures updates and change management as required
Handles diverse clients in a region
Works on the basis of predefined contracts and frameworks

To be successful in this role you will:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college preferred (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Oilfield Chemical Services)
Minimum of 3 additional years of experience in Oilfield Chemical Services
Must be willing and able to present information to various levels of the organization and customers in a clear and concise manner
Proven ability to lead and influence others that may not be direct reports
Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact
Proven ability to manage several projects from conception to completion simultaneously
Effective problem identification and solution skills
Proven analytical and organizational ability

Monday - Friday (8am - 5pm) - The work is based in our local laboratory in Pleasanton TX and/ or the work includes frequent, sometimes daily remote work at one of our customer site in South Texas, Eagle Ford area.
