Summary:

The Cook Children's Student Pharmacist provides employment designed to give the pharmacy student practical experience in the operations of a pediatric hospital pharmacy. The position will be responsible for assisting the pharmacist in providing professional pharmacy services to the patients and the community we serve. Clerical tasks will encompass the process of recording, filling, and reporting pharmacy activities and services. The technical and clinical tasks will be performed under the direct supervision of an experienced pharmacist.

Qualifications:

• Enrolled in an accredited school of pharmacy
• ACPE IV Certification must be obtained during pharmacy school or an approved ACPE accredited course within 1 year of employment (after first professional year of pharmacy school)
• Texas Pharmacy Intern License (after first professional year)
• CPR - Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider
