Full Job Description
Summary
The Sr. Diversity & Inclusion Specialist is responsible for coordinating and overseeing plans to promote inclusion, diversity, equity and acceptance within the organization. This person will lead the development and maturity of employee network groups and partner with communications to broker inclusion, diversity, equity and acceptance services.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide strategic direction to help mature and manage employee networks.
- Partner with employee network champions to enforce employee network charters, policies and procedures.
- Engage and support employee network signature events and new hire employee network mixers.
- Provide inclusive and cultural awareness education in multiple learning formats to increase awareness of and to celebrate and award workplace culture and inclusion, equity and acceptance progress, productivity and success across the business.
You Must Have
- Bachelor's degree in Business, International Business, Human Resources, Communications or other related fields
- 5+ years' experience in supporting the advancement of culture and inclusion, equity and acceptance in organizations
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
- Ability to work remote, hybrid, or on-site as directed by management and is determined by the needs of the business
- United States Citizenship
- Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job
- Ability to obtain and maintain, if required for position, a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance (some positions require additional DOE designations).
