Job Description: Our client, a large defense contractor, has an immediate opening for a Senior Shipping Associate to work from their Taunton, MA facility. As a Senior Shipping Associate, you'll perform a combination of manual and clerical shipping duties such as determining proper carrier and route and preparing paperwork for shipments. Your clear communication skills will enable you to effectively process outgoing shipments, follow shipping practices and procedures, and route, track, and process shipments using the computer system.
Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 2 years of related experience. Certification in assigned area is preferred if appropriate.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Applicants selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
What you bring to the table:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent plus a minimum of 2 years of related experience. Certification in assigned area preferred, if appropriate
- Ability to lift heavy items and may operate a forklift or other power industrial vehicles
- Clear knowledge of shipping activities/processes, including classified materials
