We are currently looking for a Sr. Payroll Specialist to join our Payroll team based in our Ada, MI headquarters. As one of our Payroll Specialists, your journey will entail acting as the main point of contact for US employees regarding their Tier 1 and Tier 2 payroll inquiries, providing issue resolution. You'll be deeply engaged in payroll systems, where your analytical skills will be challenged as you audit, analyze, and resolve various payroll discrepancies. Your role is vital in assessing and improving our payroll processing systems, ensuring greater accuracy and efficiency. You'll also be able to lead impactful initiatives and collaborate closely with our HR team to develop strategies and solutions for pay changes. We use SAP solutions for our Payroll runs, and this team handles all North American payroll (US, Canada, and Dominican Republic).
For this role, you will be expected to be in the Ada, MI office for the weekly Campus Collaboration days, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Additional days in the office may be required based on what's going on.
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of complex payroll processing and support in a corporate environment
- Broad understanding of the intersection of payroll and other HR functions
- Intermediate level of Excel required with capabilities in PowerPoint, Word, and Teams desired
- Experience with modern payroll software
- (SAP/SuccessFactors and Workforce Management time & attendance tools/platforms is a plus)
- Associate degree, or equivalent related experience
