-The main responsibility of this role is to lead, develop, implement, and oversee effective Health, Safety Environment (HSE) systems in line with local, regional, and global expectations. This involves technical support for numerous Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) activities following established processes and lead the effective implementation to the daily operations of the function. -To provide expertise in a specialized aspect of Health Safety Environment or Environmental Sustainability to the business and advice to ensure adherence to legal and Company internal documents in HSE for internals, externals.

This involves technical support for numerous Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) activities following established processes and lead the effective implementation to the daily operations of the function. -To provide expertise in a specialized aspect of Health Safety Environment or Environmental Sustainability to the business and advice to ensure adherence to legal and Company internal documents in HSE for internals, externals.

Major accountabilities:

Keep track of the legislation and regulations in Health Safety and Environment -HSE Head office level, responsible for key HSE activities including e.g. data management, CAPA management, etc.
Support for project management activities in the site.
Identify, assess and document Health Safety and Environment risks to the employees and third parties at work (analysis of work areas) and recommend the necessary technical, organization and cultural measures in collaboration with the superior.
Coordinate or introduce necessary Health Safety and Environment measurements in the work areas and monitor the implementation of the protective measures necessary on the basis of the work area analyses.
Supports incident root cause investigations.
Define Health Safety and Environment training requirements according to risks and provide appropriate coaching for the employees and advise the superiors on issues of Health Safety and Environment -Collect necessary data/information and report to Global Health Safety and Environment -To assist Head/s in ensuring HSE compliance as per country legislations and Sandoz HSE policy, guidelines, guidance notes and programs in respective responsibility.
Following the national and global Environment, Health & Safety laws, standards and regulations. Implementing the new requirements or changes accordingly, Creating proper solutions for the risky processes, Monitoring records nonconformities, near misses and accidents daily Planning and conducting information and training activities concerning work safety and environmental protection, Conducts risk assessments with the team, Organization of emergency drills and actions to be taken Conducts environmental aspects & impact assessment periodically, Waste Management & Waste Plan Preparation,
Conducting HSE Committee, and Governance meetings, , Updating, revising new procedures related with HSE GOPs, regulations, etc.
May have responsibility for results of the team purpose

Minimum Requirements:
Work Experience:

Fluent in English
Min 5 years of working experience in HSE
.BA Degree in relevant fields
Crisis Management
Project and Operations Management and Execution
Knowledge in HSE Management Systems and Workplace Safety Standards
Collaborating across boundaries with action oriented perspective
