National Grid is hiring Senior Analyst, Gas Field Operations for our UNY Contractor Oversight and Restorations team in the following locations: Schenectady or North Syracuse, NY.

Job Purpose
Reporting to the Director of the UNY Contractor Oversight and Restoration team, you will play a key role in supporting our Contractor Oversight and Restoration teams across Upstate New York.
This role is expected to provide insightful data analysis, improve and maintain the invoicing process, monitor work plans and customer complaints, interpretation and reporting for operational support. The key individual will need to understand the business drivers that impact end-to-end processes, including regulatory, compliance, operational, and stakeholder engagement.
Job Responsibilities
- Track, review and analyze data to identify key trends and areas of opportunity
- Ensure compliance and rate case requirements are successfully implemented and sustained within the Contractor Oversight and Restoration organizations
- Manage Contractor Oversight and Restoration aging invoice dashboards.
- Manage Contractor Oversight invoice dashboards and send appropriate approvals/rejections, research activity codes and apply to invoices.
- Manage Restoration resource coordination to prioritize work with contractors.
- Manage Restoration service sheet creation and work order validation.
- Support end-to-end compliance framework for the Upstate New York Gas Field Operations Contractor Oversight teams and drive improvements
- Create and execute key performance indicators (KPI's) to drive data-driven decision making and achieve continuous improvement
- Manage systems for scheduling and tracking completion to ensure compliance, including gas construction meter cards, regulator inspections, inside piping/meter inspections, locator audits, fuser and inspector OQ review, Contractor ISNetworld reporting, gas meter relocation reports
- Manage efficiency reporting
- Ability to take on additional projects to support business needs
- Ability to responds and react to emergency response events during normal business hours or off hours
Qualifications
- People-oriented person, who is comfortable working with and challenging a broad range of stakeholders
- Good verbal and written communication skills with demonstrable experience of applying them in technical and business report writing and the development and delivery of presentations
- At least 2 years of relevant work order experience
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Knowledge of PowerBI and PowerApps
- Knowledge of Ariba and Maximo Invoicing process
- Ability to plan, evaluate and improve the efficiency of business processes and procedures to enhance speed, quality and output
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to analyze information and synthesize themes and trends
- Demonstrated ability to meet time/date driven mandates
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Experience in managing multiple projects with competing deadlines and priorities
- Proven ability to identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and effectiveness

Salary
$97,000 - $114,000 a year
This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills.
