THE ROLE
The Rotational Development Program (RDP) is designed to provide hardworking and highly motivated new graduates from diverse backgrounds the opportunity to gain exposure to and become fully immersed in the investment management industry. We are looking to attract, develop, and retain future leaders across the organization.
In addition to on-the-job experience, RDP Associates will receive structured mentorship, tailored professional development seminars, networking opportunities, and formalized training. Upon successful completion of the program, the RDP Associate will have the opportunity to be placed in a permanent position at MFS based on your interests and business needs. This program is scheduled to start June 2025. The RDP Associates will work in our hybrid schedule (3 core days in-person, 2 remote) from our Boston, Massachusetts office.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
The Rotational Development Program (RDP) Associate - will rotate through a sequence of three, eight-month rotations across different areas of our Human Resources & Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Teams:
HR Business Partners/HR Operations:The HR Business Partner/HR Operations Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the HR Business Partners. The HR Business Partners partner with assigned client groups and contributes to business outcomes by effectively implementing talent strategies. They support leaders through HR programs, including performance management, talent assessment and development as well as support alignment with HR Centers of Excellence teams and influence HR priorities based on business unit strategy and objectives.
HR- Talent Development: The Talent Development Specialist plays an integral role partnering with the Talent Development team by providing support to our internal clients, vendors, and stakeholders and coordinating training programs. Talent Development Team supports enterprise-wide, business unit specific learning and development programs, and firm-wide talent management objectives.
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion: The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Specialist will support the team's mission to drive greater diversity, elevate equity, increase inclusion and build belonging, we focus on culture, talent and community both inside MFS and externally with our clients, industry peers and partners. Our aim is to create an inclusive workplace where people of all identities and backgrounds can thrive and grow.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
You have obtained or are in your final year in pursuit of an undergraduate degree (Bachelors)
Must have good communication and organizational skills.
Must be a quick learner with an interest in gaining exposure to the innerworkings of human resources, DEI, or investment management.
Must be detail oriented, a team player and possess a strong work ethic.
Must have the ability to work in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment.
Experience with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel & Teams) and Salesforce a plus.
Strong interpersonal skills and passion for developing relationships.
Work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Strong analytical, communication, organizational and project/people management skills.
