The ideal candidate:

State RVT license preferred, but not required
Previous Specialty experience preferred
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Passion for helping people and their pets

About the role:

Day shift, Tuesday-Friday
The role involves a variety of responsibilities includingradiology, anesthesia monitoring, physical examinations, laboratory work, pharmacy duties, patient recovery, and providing compassionate care to hospitalized patients.
The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills, and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Compensation Range:RVT:$25.00 - $40.00 hourSVA:$25.00 - $36.00
$8,000 Hiring Bonusfor Registered Veterinary Technicians and$6,000 Hiring Bonusfor Veterinary Assistants (for full-time, new to SAGE hires) forovernightroles.
$7000 Hiring Bonusfor Registered Veterinary Technicians and$5000 Hiring bonusfor veterinary assistants forswingshift roles.
$6000 Hiring Bonusfor Registered Veterinary Technicians and$4000 Hiring bonusfordayshift roles.
Shift differentials available! $3/hour swing shift, $5 overnight shift

Basic Required Qualifications:

High school diploma
2+ yearsof clinical experiencein the veterinary industry
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interface with staff and clients using tact, patience, professional courtesy, and exhibit confidentiality and discretion where appropriate
Consistent and reliable ability to perform mathematical calculations
Maintain the California Veterinary Assistant Controlled Substance Permit
