Sr Proposal Manager
McLean, VA / Remote / Hybrid

MUST:
Experienced Proposal Manager
8+ years of proposal and capture related experience in Federal and DoD field
3+ years of experience leading internal and external proposal teams
Well versed in government contracting industry in both the prime and subcontractor role
Ability to supervise and manage proposal efforts with teaming partners from soup to nuts
Superior proposal writing capabilities
Ability to conduct full proposal lifecycle activities, kickoffs, assignments, schedules, color reviews, and lessons learned
Experience coaching and mentoring more junior members of the team with various element of the proposal process
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and SharePoint
Very strong with proposal graphics and using Adobe and Desktop Publisher
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
High attention to detail
Shipley Training and certification are a plus
Very organized and able to handle multiple projects and deadlines at once
Bachelor s Degree

DUTIES:
Will be responsible for overall supervision/management of their proposal teams, serving as the primary point of contact, and will be accountable for shepherding the proposal process for multiple RFIs and RFPs simultaneously
The successful candidate will have demonstrated success supporting multiple pursuits of opportunities in the $30-$200 million range and a thorough understanding of the federal procurement process in both the Defense and Civilian sector markets
Lead and/or facilitate the kick-off meeting and engage all parties for all color reviews
Manage all activities involved in the development and production of proposals, including third-party support
Review and analyze solicitations and related documents; develop and enforce the proposal schedule; and create the proposal outline to direct the proposal development process
Conduct monthly audits and pipeline reviews
Effectively delegate and coordinate tasks to proposal content contributors, keeping them on task and managing input through to completion. As appropriate provide feedback that supports the improvement of their proposal content
Ensure quality control for each stage of the proposal process to ensure a fully compliant submission
Help support the development and administration of the Bids and Proposals repositories, including re-use and boilerplate, process, template, submitted proposals, past performance, and graphics libraries, among others
Perform and oversee white glove and final proposal production including desktop publishing, editing, proofreading, and (when rarely required) printing, binding, and shipping/delivery
