As a Program Controls Specialist III here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will be accountable for managing and directing the control and oversight of various aspects of a project, such as scheduling, cost management, risk assessment, and reporting. You will report directly to our Program Controls Manager and you will work out of one of our Aero locations on a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the financial health, operational efficiency, risk management, stakeholder relationships, and overall success of multiple programs and projects within the Aerospace business unit.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Guide the program controls function for projects and programs
- Develop and implement project planning and scheduling strategies
- Monitor and control project costs and budgets
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues
- Analyze project performance metrics and provide insights and recommendations
- Responsible for reliable program EVM (earned value management) application, compliance and procedures
- Ensure compliance with project management standards and best practices
- Responsible for program EAC (estimate at completion) management
COMPENSATION
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Connecticut, and Hawaii is 86k-120k. For Washington and most major metropolitan areas in New York & California, the annual base salary range is 86k-120k. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
This position is not incentive plan eligible.

YOU MUST HAVE
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in program controls, project management, or related roles
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Strong understanding of project management ethics and methodologies
- Experience with project planning and scheduling tools
