ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
You demonstrated safety behaviors to support company safety procedures with focus on zero injuries. This includes though behavioral observations, participation in SRC and daily trainings
You learn, understand, and train line personnel on Daily Management Systems (DMS) to include understanding use of Health Checks to improve results.
You collaborate with other line CPS Coordinators and Pillar owners in the development and deployment of CPS and DMS work.
You assist supervisors, operators and mechanics with all equipment troubleshooting and with urgency around keeping equipment running
You monitor, instructs and teaches CPS and other work systems to mechanics and where required provides coaching to close the gaps in understanding. You will participate in improvement projects and teams, to include 5S, SRC, BDAR, Kaizen.
You guide 5S, housekeeping and GMP, especially as it relates to tools, shop and equipment, and equipment repair.
you ensure your team members lunches, breaks.
You attend meetings needed.
You support and coordinate activities in other areas and other shifts.
You help conduct line capability and loss studies for identified areas.
You help facilitate training to assigned teams for main/FI methodology tools.
You trainer. Coach new operators, and provide refresher training/assisting existing operators.
You ensure accurate downtime reporting within LEDs.
You work with Line personnel and maintenance in to create a bridge of understand and cooperation.
You perform other tasks that the Team Leader may require.
You report directly to the line Team lead.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum:
High School diploma or equivalent
Experience working in a production, manufacturing or distribution environment for 6+ months
A previous member of a CPS Pillar or other Continuous Improvement team activities.
Experience working in a food processing or packaging environment
Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft office.
Leadership experience either in manufacturing environment
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
Sit, stand, walk and climb stairs during time on duty
May be subject to bloodborne pathogens and other illnesses, occupational hazardous materials and associated protective activities and donning personal protective equipment
Operate monitoring equipment required
