Volt is immediately hiring for a Power Electronics Test Technician in Irvine, CA.

As an Power Electronics Test Technician you will:

Setup facility and instrumentation for testing
Exercise electrical safety protocols
Perform function testing, hipot testing, burn-in testing, and validation according to the test procedures
Record/report the test result
Assist in continuous improvement of test procedures and test facility
Execute product quality control and quality assurance
Organize/maintain tools, equipment, and facility

This is a Full Time Opportunity

The ideal candidate will have:

BS degree or Associate degree with experience in electrical circuit and testing.
High voltage experience is a plus.
Ability to read work orders, follows production drawings, written/verbal instructions, and sample assemblies.
Electronic instruments and mechanical hand tools experience.
US citizenship or green card required.
Avid self-learner, self-motivated, and team-oriented. Ability to efficiently and effectively manage time and complete tasks. Good written and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail, motivated, self-reliant, and honest.

Pay Rate: $25.00 hour - $30.00 hour

Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:30pm
