Summary

A minimum of 2 recent years of pharmacy experience coupled with customer service is required, preferably in a retail pharmacy. Must have knowledge of the prior authorization process. Must be able to work the required shift 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM Monday through Friday with a Saturday rotation and be located within 50 miles of Newark, DE. The Pharmacy Call Center position entails answering incoming telephone inquiries from providers who are inquiring about prior authorizations and claims in a polite and professional manner, interpreting chart notes, communicating with team members, and other various duties.

The ideal candidate will have an understanding of achieving service level agreements and will strive to meet or exceed key performance indicators. This position requires outstanding customer service to medical and pharmacy providers, commitment to quality, and must be able to interpret policies and procedures. Must be able to multitask by speaking and typing concurrently. Must have strong attention to detail and solid analytical skills. The candidate will have problem resolution skills. Must be able to read, write and speak the English language and will be able to de-escalate upset callers. Additionally, the candidate will be able to perform efficiently in a high volume call center and maintain professionalism and composure in stressful situations.

The pay range for this position is $30,500.00 - $43,500.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
