Full Job Description

Patent Specialist (Santa Ana, CA) Conducting thorough research to assess the patentability of new pharmaceutical inventions or improvements including reviewing existing patents, scientific literature & regulatory requirements. Assisting attorneys in drafting patent applications for new pharmaceutical products, formulations, processes, or technologies including preparing detailed descriptions, claims, and drawings that meet legal & technical standards. Managing the patent prosecution process, which includes communicating with patent examiners, responding to office actions, and ensuring compliance with patent laws & regulations. 40 hours/week, Offered wage: $65,000/ year, Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or related required.
