What You'll Do
BCG Nashville is growing! We are looking for experienced consultants to join our Health Care team at the Partner level.Qualified individuals will play a critical role in enriching project work and bringing forward-thinking solutions to our Payers, Providers, Systems and Services clients. Ideal candidates will have previous management consulting experience and demonstrated leadership in growing client relations, people and knowledge development.
Health Care consultants' partner with Provider and Payer clients to define winning strategies, shape their value proposition, enhance their operational effectiveness, and create sustained advantage.
As one of the most senior people at the client site, Partners interact with the client lead on a day-to-day basis to ensure that expectations are aligned. Partners provide the project management oversight required to meet client expectations. Responsibilities may include the development of presentations, managing of external relationships and consultant work progress, providing status reports, and overseeing budgets. Partners own more senior client relationships and are expected to proactively shape the clients' agenda. They also actively participate in generating new case opportunities.
What You'll Bring
- Demonstrated consulting and industry experience within the Health Care Providers, Payers & Health Services sectors.
- 5+ years of post-graduate school consulting experience, with 4 + years at a team lead level.
- Track record of collaboration with senior executives.
- Strong management and communication skills. The ability to bring together all stakeholders and persuade senior clients to take action is essential.
- Strong analytical skills and a high capacity for conceptual thinking. Ability to develop leading edge business models, frameworks for analysis, and long-term business strategies that maximize shareholder value. Must be able to thrive in a hypothesis-based environment where inductive rather than deductive reasoning is the norm.
- Proven ability to manage client engagements, client relationships, and provide "thought leadership" to teams, owning the responsibility for the quality of engagements.
- A combination of management and "hands on" delivery experience is critical.
- A solid track record of building strong client relationships with large organizations, as well as identifying opportunities to deepen those relationships and grow the business.
- Medical degree is nice to have but not required.
- A degree from a top-tier institution preferred.
