Packaging Specialist - Mid Level

Location: Framingham, MA
Duration: 6 months
Hours per week: 40
Hybrid Schedule: 2 days on site
Rate Range: $30-$35.50 per hour

Position Overview
The Packaging Specialist will be responsible for developing innovative packaging solutions that align with our brand strategy and enhance product presentation. This role involves collaborating with various teams to ensure packaging meets quality standards while being cost-effective and sustainable.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute packaging designs in alignment with brand objectives and product requirements.
• Utilize Adobe Creative Suite to create and modify packaging graphics and layouts.
• Manage multiple packaging projects from concept through to execution, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project timelines.
• Conduct quality checks on packaging samples to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and supply chain to streamline packaging processes and address any challenges.
• Stay updated on industry trends and innovations in packaging design and materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Packaging Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in packaging design and project management, preferably within a retail environment.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Management experience is a plus, but not required.
