Over the last 20 years, the Peabody Essex Museum (PEM) has distinguished itself as one of the fastest-growing art museums in North America. Founded in 1799, it is also the country's oldest continuously operating museum. Under supervision of the Chief Marketing Officer the Marketing Project Specialist will support a cross-discipline team in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment.
The Marketing Project Specialist serves as the point of contact for internal museum departments and helps assign tasks, set deadlines with team members, and determines the project's resource allocation requirement while making adjustments over the course of the project's duration. The role will also provide administrative support to the Chief Marketing Officer and the Marketing team while being active in managing administrative tasks related to the museum's press and influencer outreach.. This role will lead project meetings, ensure projects are delivered as scheduled and within budget, and manage Marketing project workflows on Monday.com.
PEM is looking for a candidate that has a minimum of 5 years in administrative support roles along with project management software experience (preferably in Monday.com). Strong time management and organization skills as well as experience in planning, prioritizing, scheduling and implementing projects required. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while working collaboratively across teams is a plus. Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office and other web-hosted services coupled with exemplary interpersonal, oral, written and presentation and skills. This position is a full time role and the hiring range for this role is $52,000 to $55,000 commensurate with experience.
