Overview

This position is for a Manufacturing Associate in the Repligen ATF manufacturing group. Operator will be responsible for all aspects of manufacture, including electronic controller assembly and testing, pneumatic and vacuum solenoid valve assembly and test, system pressure and vacuum testing, system flow calibration, product evaluation, and software test. This person will also be responsible for documenting all work in production batch records; operation of laboratory equipment (including pumps, power tools, hand tools, pressure tanks, and various gauges/sensors) and operation of manufacturing equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct basic assembly and test techniques
  • Ability to read manufacturing drawings and follow standard operating procedures
  • Adhere to Repligen GDP policies
  • Adhere to Repligen Safety policies
  • Ability to learn basic use of SAP,
  • Ability to learn Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Responsible for performing visual inspection on in-process and finished products
  • Use of basic hand tools and test fixtures to verify component build quality
  • Package and label finished product
  • Work with a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment for minimum of 8 hours a day
  • Perform daily lean housekeeping tasks as assigned
  • Learn Repligen Performance System and participate in Tier Board Mtgs, GEMBA, and 5S
  • Basic problem solving
  • Escalate concerns to Sr. Mfg, Lead Mfg Associate or Supervisor

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • 0-2 years of relevant experience
  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • Basic arithmetic skills
  • Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on quality standards
  • Ability to use hand tools, and equipment including forceful gripping, grasping, pushing, and pulling
  • Stand and move during shift, including reaching, bending, stooping, grasping and frequently lift and manipulate up to 50 pounds max unassisted.
  • Frequently lift to 30 pounds ·
  • Wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and adhere to chemical hygiene ·
  • Follow all safety protocols.
  • Demonstrate Repligen R-Values.
