Position Overview

This position provides support to Jaggers domestic franchise restaurants. They partner with the franchise management teams to improve productivity, efficiency, and recipe adherence. They are essential in developing New Store Opening (NSO) teams and supporting training by developing tools, resources, and related training materials to achieve Legendary Food and Legendary Service. This position is based in Louisville, Kentucky, and involves frequent travel to restaurants throughout the United States. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Responsibilities

    • Participate in menu and product testing for new menu items as well as new store openings
    • Conduct rollouts of new menu items and follow-ups on consistency execution
    • Continually reviews current recipes and procedures looking for ways to improve consistency, flavor, and ease of execution
    • Teach the importances and ensure adherence to daily taste and temps
    • Understand and practice safe food handling procedures
  • Creates a safe and fun environment for all staff
  • Reviews restaurant for APL (Approved Product List)
  • Develops and conducts regular audits on store visits. Effectively communicates results with store managers and helps create action plans to ensure Franchises remain compliant.

Training

  • Supports the Franchise partner in new store openings
  • Supports opening management teams in preparation for the opening
  • Maintains database of Jaggers NSO trainers
  • Conducts evaluations of opening trainer staff
  • Provide support to the management team on how to train staff properly
  • Teaches and supports all in-store training systems for domestic franchise restaurants
  • Works during peak and non-peak business times
  • Coaches staff on how to properly maintain equipment and educate staff on equipment cleaning procedures
  • Ensures that the cleanliness of the restaurant and the safety of our guests are maintained through regular training and audits
  • Measures and trains for improvements of speed of service
  • Manages training through "hands-on" supervision in the restaurants - this includes but is not limited to scheduled assistance with regional events and classrooms
  • Drives and encourages participation in various recognition programs
  • Models and teaches the Jaggers preferred method of training: Tell, Show, Do, Review
  • Assists in the development of Franchise Groups to develop training centers
  • Assist in conducting MIT validations
  • Assist in updating OSM and all training materials needed for Jaggers
  • Cross-trains opening trainers and oversees their development
  • Validates NSO Trainers and conducts NSO seminars
  • Conducts Training Center Validations (TCV)
  • Performs Serve-safe validations

    • Inspires the management team to deliver service at the pace and effectiveness needed to meet or exceed operational standards for legendary food and legendary service and to improve sales
    • Identifies areas for improvement in food costs, labor, and speed of service and works with management to implement them
    • Role models and upholds the training of Jagger's Operational Goals, Mission Statement, Jagger's Top Ten, and each area of unit review (quality of operations, financial results, people, and culture)

Qualifications

  • High School diploma required
  • College degree in business, culinary, hospitality, training, or related field preferred
  • A minimum of 3 years at the manager level of a restaurant is required
  • New restaurant opening or culinary experience preferred
  • Extensive restaurant experience is a plus
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook proficient
  • Serve Safe Certified
  • Other Skills:
  • Good organizational skills
  • An effective communicator
  • The ability to problem-solve and handle high-stress situations
  • Detailed oriented
  • Good understanding of servant leadership
