Individual assigned to this position is responsible for developing the Call Center’s operation, in terms of Internal Processes, Procedures, Client Management and Staff Development.  Serve as a partner with the Client Management Team in the outsourcing of their Benefits Program. Lead the HRIS Infrastructure development for the Call Center. Manage Client Employee Benefit Programs by performing duties personally or through subordinates.   Incumbents in this position must have teamwork and team building skills as well as meet the requirements of the organization's corporate values (Integrity, Teamwork, Value for Customers and Performance Driven).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as the Project Manager in the implementation of assigned Client Outsourcing Programs: develop client documentation, assure compliance of all customer requirements
  • Plan and direct activities of Assigned Client accounts to ensure agreed to objectives of projects are accomplished within prescribed time frame
  • Develop standardized metrics, analysis and client reporting of BSC performance
  • Serve as an HR & IS team Leader for IBSC BSC’s implementation of Health & Welfare plans.
  • Coordinate Training efforts for BSC representatives: enable expertise of client specific processes and procedures in benefit management
  • Responsible for the management of Client outsource services, record keeping and invoice processing of all services rendered to Clients
  • Act as a liaison between client and insurance carriers to resolve problems and clarify benefit issues on coverage, claims processing etc.
  • Ensure that all necessary forms, documentation is completed for any workers compensation claim, STD, or LTD claims
  • Ensure that all parties are kept informed, and that proper follow up is conducted
  • Assist with annual benefits renewals and necessary enrollment procedures on behalf of clients
  • Assist in New Business development efforts
  • Lead Project management efforts

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Prior employment with a Benefit Consulting firm, or Insurance Broker is preferred.
  • BBA in Human Resources or related field. Benefit / HR certification preferred
  • 6+ years of experience working in benefits is required
  • IS expertise in managing HRIS related software and data base management & tracking are necessary
  • Planning and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
  • Customer service oriented
  • Analytical skills
  • Excellent communication (verbal and writing) and interpersonal skills.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
