Shift: This role is 1st Shift, 12:45 AM-12:45 PM

Hourly Rate: $19.23 an hour

The Trash Dock associate will perform a variety of tasks including completing required paperwork, operating the controls on the compactors, making adjustments; and operate the trash compactors and balers.

Starting pay up to $19.23 per hour + Attendance Bonus! ($0.50 for first shift and $0.60 for second shift and $0.70 for Third Shift)

You will be onsite at the facility located in Council Bluffs, Iowa. As a general labor, you will report to the operations team. You will work onsite at the Council Bluffs location.

You Will:

Work the scheduled/assigned times and required overtime for position
Operate P.I.T.'s
Work individually and with others as a team
Push or pull up to 50 lbs. repetitively
Obtain all required paperwork for shift
Check compactors for anything out of the ordinary
Dump and compact trash into the trash compactors
Add cardboard into the cardboard baler and bale the cardboard for recycling
Add plastic into the vertical baler and bale the plastic for recycling
Pump liquids (fats, oils and grease) into the designated tank
Monitor the compacting process
Load the cardboard, barrels, pallets, and plastic onto the designated trailer
Cleaning compactors, totes, work area
Ensure good housekeeping and 5S standards are met
Complete all required paperwork and document important data
May perform general labor tasks as assigned

You have:

Knowledge of GMP's and food allergens
Be PIT Certified
Be LOTO Certified
Knowledge of the 5S concept
Work with animal and allergen products

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or GED

Experience: Minimum 3 months production or related experience
