Job Summary:
We are seeking an LPN to be an integral member of the healthcare team and provide direct and indirect care to patients at Duke Women's Health Heritage.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Patient care responsibilities - rooming patients, collecting histories, and charting, ensuring medications are up to date and all information is correct prior to visit.
- Fulfills EOC Responsibilities - cleaning exam rooms, stocking supplies, maintain a safe work environment.
- Acts as clinical liaison between patients, clinical and clerical teams.
- Assist providers as needed within scope of practice (ex. Assists with routine exams, procedures, chaperone exams).
- Perform basic laboratory tests on premises (ex. Blood draws, POCT, Urine).
- Prepare and administer medications as directed by provider.
- Sterilize and high level disinfect medical equipment.
- Perform other clinical functions as delegated and supervised by a provider or RN.
Job Eligibility Requirements:
- North Carolina or Multistate LPN License Required. NCBON must be notified within 60 days if using a multistate license.
- 1 Year of LPN experience preferred
- BLS required
Job Hours:
The schedule for this position is day shifts, Monday-Friday, with no weekends or holidays.
