Job Summary:
Provide technical and patient care support to members and other customers. Sell, fit, dispense, measure and adjust contact lenses and other optical devices in accordance with written prescriptions.
Essential Responsibilities:

Eyewear selection, sales, and dispensing.

Contact lens selection, sale, fitting and instruction. Problem solving.

Rx ordering, check-in of Rxs, Verification, Lab functions such as tinting, edging, repairs, contact lens modification and polishing.

Fill staff shortage in other areas.

Basic Qualifications: Experience

Minimum three (3) years of relevant experience.

Education

High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.

License, Certification, Registration

Dispensing Optician License (Washington) required at hire

American Board of Opticianry Basic Certification required at hire AND National Contact Lens Examiner - Basic Certification required at hire

Additional Requirements:

Proficiency in all aspects of opticianary.
Craftsmanship skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Associates degree OR a minimum of two (2) years experience in a directly related field.
