Responsibilities

The Qlik Replicate team is seeking a highly skilled infrastructure engineer to support the data replication process for moving data to AWS. This position is part of the Shared Services product suite in Enterprise Data Enablement specifically providing data movement capabilities. The Qlik Replicate area currently supports approximately 15 applications migrating data to a cloud environment. The position will require skills working in Linux, Windows and AWS environments. In this role you will collaborate with various business partners looking to replicate data to the cloud. You will be responsible for building and maintaining a stable infrastructure, providing resiliency to the environment and maintaining a high degree of security for the data being replicated.

  • Collaborate with business partners across the enterprise to provide expertise and guidance for migrating data to AWS.
  • Ability to work independently following the technical direction established within the product framework.
  • Optimize infrastructure architecture and implement best practices to enhance system performance, scalability and resilience.
  • Keep on top of technology changes and work with the team to incorporate changes that provide a robust and resilient environment.
  • Be able to multitask and manage work within the product environment.

Qualifications

  • Ability to manage and maintain Qlik Replicate server infrastructure ensuring their availability, security and performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure related issues, working closely with cross functional teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Ability to code for infrastructure/product refinement. Python, Bash etc.
  • Ability to utilize infrastructure as code technology – Puppet and Teraform
  • Experience with Linux and or Windows.
  • Mainframe infrastructure experience is a benefit but not required.

HYBRID: Qualified candidates (in or near hub locations listed below) should plan to spend time working from home and some time working in the office as part of our hybrid work environment.

Compensation Range: $85,500-$201,300

For California, New York, and Connecticut candidates:

Potential salary range: $85,500 - $228,750

Potential yearly inventive pay: up to 15% of base salary
