Full Job Description

Promote security awareness to staff and consultants. Perform/Monitor security controls, track and gather security metrics, analyze vulnerabilities, and respond to security threats. Provide security guidance to project teams delivering business solutions, perform risk assessments of technology-related vendors, and research industry threat trends and mitigation actions. Additional duties include security program maintenance and improvement.

Accountabilities:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor, analyze and report on the security of information systems.
  • Promote security awareness through in-person training, online training, and Bank-wide communication of policies and security threats.
  • Collaborate with IT and business units to produce customer friendly procedures.
  • Provide excellent security services to Bank business units.
  • Advise and assist with operational security and response to information security incidents.
  • Conduct or assist with vendor assessments according to procedures.
  • Provide information security requirement input in support of project initiatives.
  • Assist in research of technologies and methods that better utilize existing technology.
  • Assist in the maintenance of security standards, procedures, and guidelines used to mitigate risk in the Bank's information security posture (internal/external).
  • Assist with information security strategies and organizational governance. Communicate security strategies and framework to staff, partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Perform or monitor departmental internal controls; monitor regulatory issues.
  • Perform vulnerability scans and track mitigation.
  • Monitor security information/event management software for potential security problems.
  • Provide support with security projects, vendor management, monitoring/review of system changes and assist in security program management.
  • Support Identity Access Management (IAM) governance, policies and solutions across SSO, directory, certificate, MFA, privileged accounts, automation and behavior analytics systems.
  • Assess and resolve IAM issues that occur across the employee base, as well as with external entities.
  • Document access management procedures and exceptions; maintain integrity for audit reviews.
  • Provision user accounts and access across multiple and sundry business applications.
  • Make recommendations for improvements in automation efficiencies, security practices and end-user experience.
  • Maintain understanding of business processes to aid in managing enterprise identity and access.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field, or relevant experience
  • 1 + years’ experience as an information security analyst, engineer, architect, specialist or consultant
  • Experience providing and validating security requirements related to network and operating system security
  • Security+, GISF, GSEC, or similar security certification is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of IDS/IPS, anti-malware, web content filtering, vulnerability scanners and other security tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented, self-starting and motivated
  • Ability to assess risk and make control recommendations
  • Proficiency in networking and/or operating systems preferred ​

Compensation Range:

Annual Salary: $84,549.00 - $94,496.00

This salary range represents the Bank’s good faith and reasonable estimate of possible compensation at the time of hire. Offer to be determined by selected applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills & abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. This role is also eligible to participate in the Bank’s annual incentive plan.
