Apex Systems is a global IT services provider, and our staffing practice has an opening for an IAM Consultant with experience in business analysis and SailPoint to place at our client, a Big 5 bank.
Client: Big 5 Bank
Location: Downtown Toronto, 1-2 day in office
Duration of Contract/Perm: 6-month contract with possibility to extend.
Hours/week: 37.5 hrs

Job Description
Our client is seeking a skilled Identity and Access Management (IAM) Analyst to join their growing team. This role is pivotal in ensuring secure and efficient access to their systems and applications. You will be responsible for onboarding applications in SailPoint, creating and managing roles and policies, automating provisioning processes, and leveraging IdentityAI for insights.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SailPoint IdentityIQ, with a focus on application onboarding, role and policy management, and access provisioning automation. This role requires a keen analytical mind to leverage insights from IdentityAI for role mining and process optimization.
Responsibilities:
- Onboarding applications within the SailPoint platform
- Creating and managing roles and policies in SailPoint
- Automating provisioning processes to streamline access management
- Analyzing insights and recommendations generated by IdentityAI
- Conducting role mining to optimize access controls
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management
- Proven experience in automation processes (requirements gathering, not development)
- In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow and Workday systems
- Proficiency in onboarding, creating roles, and managing policies within SailPoint IdentityIQ
- Strong analytical skills for interpreting insights from SailPoint IdentityAI
Nice to Have:
- Understanding of API patterns and their application
- Knowledge of Active Directory infrastructure
- Experience in the banking industry
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Expertise in API provisioning
