Mission: 60% technical, 40% functional - configuration, integrations, and technical support in Time/Labor (OTL), Payroll, and Advanced Benefits in ORA EBS 12.2.10, HCM modules.
Day-to-day:
Functional Responsibilities:
User Support & Issue Resolution:
- Assist users with testing, requirements gathering, and process support for Payroll and Time/Labor.
- Debug issues functionally, identifying whether errors originate from configuration or setup.
Testing & Validation:
- Conduct unit testing, UAT testing, and coordinate with business users and managers.
- Ensure compliance with SOX controls when implementing changes.
Process Management & Development:
- Support and develop programs related to Payroll and Time/Labor processes.
Technical Responsibilities:
PL/SQL & Development Tools:
- Work with PL/SQL, TOAD, and Forms (though Forms usage is minimal).
- Debug reports, add fields, and ensure accurate reporting.
- Work with BI reports and payroll scripts to support reporting needs.
File & Workflow Management:
- Handle file transfers in Unix, ensuring correct information in vendor files.
- Manage workflow processes and code migration.
XML Publisher & OAF Framework:
- Proficiency in XML Publisher and familiarity with OAF Framework.
OTL & Payroll Customizations:
- Extensive customizations with 35+ layouts and 50+ parameter roles in OTL.
- Custom processes in Payroll, including Fast Formulas, payroll scripts, and calculations for over 60 pay codes.
- Special PTO accrual calculations for Missouri, Nebraska, and another state undergoing changes.
System Management & Compliance:
- Work with Remedy for issue tracking.
- Experience with GIT, ADO, and FlexEmployee.
Must Haves:
- Tools- PL/SQL, workflow, reports to understand to add/delete/edit fields that effect systems, Unix, XML publisher, wire frameworks
- PL/SQL- lots of processes run on PL/SQL so need to understand/change SaaS formulas, must be able to write the code, write scripts in the payroll sites, produce adhoc
- Toad- preferred for writing PL/SQL codes
- ORA R12 experience is a must, open to different versions
- OTL exp - absence management- when you set up the absences and manage approved PTO plans like maternity/paternity plans
Pluses:
- GIT ADO and flex deploy experience is a plus
- Remedy ticketing system
