Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Financial Cost Control Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located at Roy, UT to support the Command and Launch Segment on Sentinel Program. This position may be filled at a higher level based on qualifications listed below.
Roles and Responsibilities

• Setting up cost control system, monitoring and controlling costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system.
• Performing analyses and preparing reports to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines.
• Preparing budgets and schedules for contract work and performs and/or assisting in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis.
• Preparing program plans to ensure program requirements and statement of work are captured and scheduled.
• Performs schedule risk assessments to identify and mitigate program cost and scheduling risks.
• Ensures adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation of expenditure projections, and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government.
• Incorporates contractual changes into control systems by staying aware of outstanding work against each contract in order to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines.
Basic Qualifications
This position may be filled at a Financial Cost Control Analyst level or Principal Financial Cost Control Analyst level

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum 2 years of related experience; 1 year with a Master's degree; or 6 years of experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree (Principal level requires 5 years with a bachelor's degree, 3 years with a Master's degree, or 9 years with a high school diploma)
• Experience with Cost Control
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• US Citizenship is required with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level security clearance
Preferred Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret level security clearance
• 2 years of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience.
• Experience with SAP, SAP Business Warehouse, Deltek Cobra/MPM, PowerBI, MS Project or Risk Assessment software tools
• Strong analytical ability
• Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent problem solving and organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80A. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
Salary Range: $62,200 - $93,400
Salary Range 2: $76,600 - $115,000
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
